Privacy policy

Effective

In short: Leaph does not collect your data. What you enter stays on your device, or in your own private iCloud if you turn on sync. We cannot see it, and we never sell or share it.

This policy covers the Leaph app for iPhone as distributed through the App Store, and this website.

The information you enter

To do its job, Leaph stores what you enter: your medications, their doses and schedules, and a record of the doses you have taken or missed.

  • On your device. This information is stored on your iPhone. It is not sent to us or to any server we run — we do not have one.
  • iCloud sync, if you turn it on. Leaph can keep your data in step across your devices through iCloud. It is stored in your own private iCloud database, under your Apple Account, and is handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. We have no access to it.
  • Reminders. Dose reminders are notifications scheduled on your device. They are not sent through any server.

What we do not collect

The App Store version of Leaph has no account and no sign-in. It contains no advertising, no analytics and no tracking, and it does not collect information about you or about how you use it. Nothing is shared with, or sold to, third parties.

Crash reports from Apple

If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone’s settings (Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements), Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and basic usage figures. Apple collects and anonymises this; it does not identify you, and we use it only to fix problems. You can turn it off at any time in the same place.

This website

This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third parties. It is hosted by DigitalOcean, whose servers may keep standard request logs — such as IP address, browser type and the page requested — for security and operation. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.

Your choices and your data

  • You can edit or delete anything you have entered in the app at any time.
  • Deleting the app removes the data stored on your device.
  • Data synced through iCloud can be managed or deleted under Settings › [your name] › iCloud.

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on our side. If you have questions about your rights under the GDPR or any other privacy law, email us at .

Children

Leaph is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone — children included.

Medical disclaimer

Leaph is a tool for keeping track of medications. It does not give medical advice. Always follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Leaph handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
